This album was recorded during the halcyon days of the tours of 1976, 1979 and 1981.
The engineers were Wild Bill Leader and Colin Goddard. The remix engineer up at Triddling Studios, The Cowshed, Bower Bank, Dentdale Cumbria was Alex (“It was working a minute ago!”) Lyon.
I had a lot of fun during those tours and though the material may seem innocent by todays standards – like mushy peas and Manchester City it has I feel a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’.
