The original album, Deep Lancashire, first released by Topic Records in 1968, was the label's best selling release and it's follow-up, Owdham Edge, did nearly as well. These two records, devoted to the folk compositions of the industrial North West, sold initially in their native locality but, once their fame spread, so did their sucess - on a national scale......

*Tracks 1-12 released (with additional tracks) as the album Deep Lancashire 1968, recorded by Bill Leader
*Tracks 13-27 released (with additional tracks) as the album Owdham Edge 1970, recorded by Sean Davies
