Footloose in the West of Ireland

Ten years in the writing and researching this book was a labour of love for Mike. He has been travelling, writing and making programmes in Ireland for most of his life. His mothers family were all Quinlans, Pynes and O’Neils from Tipperary and Dublin and Mike had a love of Ireland and all things Irish (Irish traditional music in particular) from an early age.
This book celebrates that love in a series of walks that range from the Sheep’s Head Peninsula in West Cork to the daunting cliffs of Slieve League in North West Donegal.
Superb photographs are coupled with anecdotes and historical meanderings to create a vision of Ireland that few other people have seen.
